My daughter plays 8U and finding a bat that had the weight distribution for reasonable price was tough. Sideline swap made it easy.
Purchased this bat for warm ups and the batting cage and tee to preserve more expensive bats. The weight is there and the stiffness helps when she picks up the other bats for follow through.
The Easton Topaz Fastpitch Softball Bat is made from durable ALX50 Alloy, designed to withstand the rigors of the game. It features a large sweet spot and lightweight design for powerful hits and smooth swings. With a comfortable grip and balanced feel, the Topaz is an excellent choice for enhancing your daughter’s game.
I've had several of the Topaz bats. They're super inexpensive. For some of my players who are real beginners, the Topaz is a great, light bat. If you have slow hands, or you're just starting out and experimenting with a new swing, the Topaz is a good bat for you. You'll get this bat around faster. Are you going to hit a homerun with it? Probably not. But they're really fun.
