History of NHL jerseys
Hockey jerseys have changed a lot over the years. You may have heard of NHL jerseys being referred to as 'sweaters' - that's because they once were! Most NHL jersey sizing will require you to take four measurements: chest, sleeve, shoulder, and length of the torso. The top-selling NHL jerseys each season tend to correlate to who the top performing players are in the league, or at least who the most popular players are based on their personalities. Auston Matthews, Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid, Marc-André Fleury, and Henrik Lundqvist were the most popular options during the 2017-18 regular season. Popular team jerseys included the Washington Capitals (last season’s Stanley Cup winners), the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the New York Rangers, who lead the merchandising table in the NHL.
