The 2021 Elan Ripstick 96 is widely regarded as the "ultimate" all-mountain ski for those who value a lightweight feel without sacrificing downhill authority. Featuring Elan’s unique Amphibio Carbon Line technology, these skis use an asymmetrical design that places more material over the inside edges for grip and less over the outside edges for easy turn transitions. The Tubelite Woodcore, reinforced with carbon rods running the length of the ski, provides incredible rebound and vibration damping while keeping the weight remarkably low. At 96mm underfoot and in a 188cm length, this ski offers the perfect blend of float for soft snow and agility for the trees, making it a top-tier choice for the advanced skier who wants one tool to handle the entire mountain. Top Sheet Condition 6.0 This top sheet condition may have moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from ski usage. The edges may have five or more chips to the top sheet as well as large gouges or heavy scratches may be present. Portions of the top sheet may be delaminating and peeling back from the base. This ski has no compromising damage and is still skiable but has significant cosmetic damage. Base Condition 8.5 This base condition will have some noticeable scratching on some or most of the base. These scratches and scuffs could be removed with a fresh tune without any need for P-TEX repairs needed. There is no deep gouging or pitting on the base currently. These bases may show minor P-TEX repairs from the past but do not need any more. These skis have a fresh coat of wax on them and are ready to hit the slope.
