The head is very versatile. It has just the right amount of whip, with smooth release
The head is amazing, string king has always had my heart when it comes down to lacrosse heads.
Been using Stringking forever and their plastics are unmatched. I’ve used the 3V as a dpole and it’s held up amazing. The head can be used at all positions on the field and perform miles beyond other brands.
The face shape and forward cant feel great. It’s nice and stiff but lightweight
This is a great all-around head and it is clear why it is popular amongst pro and college level players. The stiff scoop allows for easy ground ball pickups and because it is a Stringking, the customization for pockets is a huge plus. On defense, I feel like it is durable to hold up to middie play. Offensively, it is light enough to allow for quick releases. As I said in the title, this is, quite literally, the best overall all-around head on the market right now and is well worth the cost and investment.
The StringKing Mark 3V's pinched design maximizes ball control and security within the pocket, complemented by a subtle top flare for smooth, effortless catches. Featuring the game's best scoop, the Mark 3V offers strength and stiffness for easy ground ball pickups, leading to faster shot speeds and a clean release.
With the 3V, you can make any pocket work! I love the versatility and how many options are available for different stringing methods. The plastic is fantastic, definitely stiff but not too stiff. It just is a better version of what it was.
