Seller description

This listing is for a Bauer Proto2 junior hockey stick with a 50 flex. Both sticks have been lightly used—one was used by my son for about a week during practice, while the other stick was only used in the shooting room for that same period. As a result, both sticks are still in nearly new condition and showcase minimal signs of wear. They are well suited for an intermediate player looking for a reliable stick that has seen very little use. The sticks are being sold individually.

Perfect stick for:

Shooters who prefer a square shaft in the hands and want mid-kick power without extra weight.

The Bauer Proto2 is a mid-kick composite stick with a square shaft profile. The corners are rounded, so the shaft sits square without sharp edges. A mid kick point loads through the middle of the shaft. It weighs 345 grams in a senior stick. Boron fiber, a stiff aerospace material, appears on 40 flex and above.

Cute CANNON

The Bauer Proto-2 is an absolute weapon in beer league, blending lightweight feel with maximum shot loading to help you light up the lamp. Its BORON carbon construction gives wrist shots a ridiculous amount of pop with minimal effort, making scoring goals feel almost too easy. On top of its elite pe

Great bang for the buck!

This is the best stick my kid has ever used. It is lightweight while still offering a good kick. We have since bought another stick to have for backup, and have been told that he'll be sticking with the Proto2 for the foreseeable future.

Proto 2

I was able to get this recently for $100. Barely used just cut. When I got on the ice I was amazed with the pop with this thing on one timers. I’m not the best at one timers but the puck flew off the blade with my slapshot and one timer. The stick is still holding up.

I’m 71 and still playing. Former Cornell varsity player and former BC regional intermediate champion. The Bauer Proto 2 is a serious stick. Very light, well balanced, and quick off the blade. What stands out most is how easily it loads. I do not have to force the shot, and the puck still comes off hard and accurately. The blade has good feel for passing and puck handling, but it is still stiff enough for clean shooting. For older players, that matters. You want performance without having to overpower the stick. Excellent stick. Fast release, strong puck feel, and easy power. I would buy it again.
