The Bauer IMS 5.0 hockey helmet is designed to offer reliable protection and comfort at an affordable price. Featuring the Two-Piece Shell Construction, which provides a traditional helmet structure, the IMS 5.0 offers a balance of protection and durability. The 5.0 has a Tool-Less Adjustment, which allows for quick and easy customization of the helmet’s fit, ensuring optimal comfort and security. The IMS 5.0 is a solid choice for players seeking a reliable and comfortable helmet.

“

The IMS 5.0 is a reliable entry-level helmet that gets the job done. Taking over the place long held by Bauer’s previous workhorse, the 4500, the IMS 5.0 stays true to its predecessor with that classic Bauer fit and feel, with an updated dual-density liner that absorbs and cushions against impact. Bauer’s classic tool-less adjustment system makes it easy to dial in your ideal fit. This helmet is perfect for the recreational player or younger athlete who wants dependable protection without all the bells and whistles.

Great helmet

Helmet has been great. Bought it “gently used” yet it still looked brand new. Have had a couple hard falls and it has definitely saved me every time. Bought a similar one for my son as well when he started playing.

Great helmet and good fit with good protection

This helmet provides solid protection with a good fit as well, it's great for someone starting out and also nice for an established player - also able to replace the metal cage with a plastic bubble if desired

Great value

This turned out to be a great helmet and a great price! Needed something to fix a visor on and that worked out well! I have always liked this model since the size can be adjusted to fit the head better!

Son is happy with it

Fits snug for my son's 7 1/4 head. We had to buy a senior's helmet because the juniors were too small for him. I like how easy the cage snaps on an off and how simple it is to adjust
