Bat BenefitsThe DeMarini Zen -11 Junior Big Barrel is a top-tier option for developing hitters in coach pitch or machine pitch leagues. Engineered with a two-piece, all-composite construction, this bat provides a lightweight swing feel and premium barrel control—perfect for players ages 5 to 7 learning proper swing mechanics. Its revamped Dark Matter Composite Barrel creates a huge sweet spot and a satisfying sound on contact, helping young hitters build confidence at the plate. The Zen Direct Connection blends a forgiving feel with solid responsiveness, while the Anomaly End Cap helps reduce swing weight and improve overall control. Built with a 2 ¾” barrel—the largest allowed in USSSA play—this bat maximizes surface area for better contact and improved results. It’s important to note that the Junior Big Barrel model is not designed for pitch speeds above 40–45 MPH, making it ideal for coach or machine pitch formats. Finished in the classic Zen green and black colorway and backed by DeMarini’s 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, the Zen -11 Junior Big Barrel gives young players a premium start to their baseball journey.
