This bat is being sold exactly as shown. At the time of inspection and shipment, it showed no visible cracks, dents, end-cap separation, had no audible rattles, and was structurally sound as shown in the photos. Scratches, paint chips, and wear marks present.  Condition is based on visual inspection only. As with all performance equipment, durability and lifespan cannot be guaranteed, and damage or failure occurring from use after purchase does not indicate a pre-existing defect. The Marucci CATX2 Vice Alloy is a USSSA certified youth baseball bat designed for players aged 9 to 13 competing in kid pitch leagues. With a 28" length and an 18 oz weight, this -10 drop bat offers balanced swing speed and control, making it easier to generate bat speed and solid contact. Its 2 3/4" barrel provides a standard hitting surface suitable for developing hitters, while the alloy construction delivers durability and consistent performance. This model is designed to meet USSSA standards and support competitive play. This bat works well for intermediate youth players looking to refine their swing mechanics and increase power without sacrificing control. The -10 drop weight ratio is common for this age group, offering a good balance between weight and length to help improve bat speed and handling. It's a solid choice for hitters transitioning from beginner bats toward more game-ready equipment. The bat is used but remains fully functional for league play.
