This is a 2021 Marucci CAT9 Alloy bat, USSSA certified with a 30-inch length and a -10 drop, designed for the kid pitch age group (9 to 13 years old). It features a 2 3/4-inch blue alloy barrel and weighs 20 ounces. The bat is used but in good condition. My son recently upgraded to a new bat, so this one is ready for use by someone else. It still has plenty of pop left in it and should perform well for youth baseball players.

The Marucci CAT 9 features a single piece of aluminum with multivariable wall thickness, extending the sweet spot and reducing swing weight. The CAT9 features a Ring-free barrel which allows for more flex within the barrel and minimizes dead spots through the bat. This model includes new technologies like the AV2 knob to dampen sting on mishits and is available in BBCOR, USSSA, and USA versions.
