This 2025 Marucci CATX2 Composite bat is a BBCOR certified model designed for high school and college play. It measures 33 inches in length with a 2 5/8-inch barrel diameter and weighs 30 ounces, featuring a -3 drop. The bat is made from composite material and includes a new Lizard Skins grip, which offers a comfortable feel. I used this bat for about half a season, and it has a few minor paint chips on the top of the cap, but nothing significant. It performs well and has a good pop, comparable to other top-level bats like the ICON. The bat is suitable for high school or travel ball players looking for a reliable BBCOR bat.
