About the Marucci CATX2 Connect Hybrid Bat

Marucci CATX2 Connect Hybrid Bat

807 sold

Perfect bat for:

Stronger high school and travel hitters who want hybrid power over a one-piece alloy bat.

The Marucci CATX2 Connect is a two-piece hybrid with an AZR alloy barrel. An outer-locking connection joins the alloy barrel to a composite handle. The hybrid build gives alloy power with less vibration than one-piece alloy. A slightly end-loaded barrel adds mass for power hitters. It suits stronger hitters who want a hybrid over a full-alloy bat.

Cool

This bat is amazing slightly end loaded. Perfetct for a balanced type swing. Good for contact and power

Good for what I needed

It was hard to find a drop-8 USA bat for my son who needed it for USA only tournaments. This was one of the only ones out there. He likes it, it has good balance and decent pop.

Marucci CATX2 Connect "Vice" (2 3/4") USSSA Bat (-

Moved from a 2025 Hype Fire to this bat for the Fall season. My 9 year old didn't like the sound at first. Now that he's firing comebackers straight up the middle and scaring every infielder on the field, he's really enjoying it. Our head coach is definitely loving it! Looks great, not too flashy.

Balances usability with development needs

The hybrid construction confers several advantages: - The composite handle lowers vibration (grip sting) while centering the weight of the bat, concentrating power in the sweet spot zone. - Alum barrel trains better batter mechanics by not giving artificial "pop" of full composite bat.

Great bat, son loves the design

My son loves this bat. We got it for practice as he’ll need to move to a drop 8 sooner than later and he insists on using it over his -10. After seeing it is slightly end loaded I was worried about swing issue since he’s used to a balanced bat but he says it swings very well and doesn’t notice any big difference.
