This Rawlings 12.5" first base glove is designed specifically for infielders playing the first base position. The size provides enough surface area to scoop throws effectively, while maintaining good control around the bag. It features a traditional design suitable for right-hand throwers, in black leather, offering durability and reliable performance on the field. The glove is used but functional, suitable for game and practice use. Ideal for players aged 9 to 13 in the kid pitch age group, this glove fits young athletes transitioning from smaller gloves while developing their defensive skills at first base. The 12.5" size balances reach and maneuverability, helping players field ground balls and catch throws with confidence. Suitable for youth players who need a dependable, appropriately sized mitt for competition and training.

Perfect glove for:

Young players ages seven to nine ready for a real-leather glove after a tee-ball mitt.

The Rawlings Sure Catch is a real-leather youth glove for players ages seven to nine. A heel cut-out helps a small hand close the glove around the ball. Rawlings finishes about 90 percent of the break-in, so it plays right away. A Velcro wrist strap adjusts the fit as a young hand grows. Player-name models like the Bryce Harper version are colorways, not different gloves.
