Rawlings RH RTD 2 Series Baseball Glove Derek Jeter Special Edition 12" (Used)

The Rawlings RTD2 Derek Jeter Special Edition is a classic, discontinued baseball glove modeled after legendary shortstop Derek Jeter. And even though I'm a Red Sox fan, I still thought it was worth reconditioning. This is a 12" glove that features Rawlings' distinctive arch basket-web configuration, mirroring the iconic web style Jeter used during his career to make squeezing the ball easier. It utilizes a fastback or conventional back design with flexible finger-back construction for enhanced hand comfort. It was pretty dusty and crusty when I got it, but I did several rounds with leather cleaner and then conditioned it, oiled it, and dyed it a darker brown. Then I relaced with maroon Flat Bill laces and applied a coat of salve at the end for added protection. This glove has no tears and is in great, game-ready condition. It does have writing on it, however (see pictures). All in all, a restored classic you don't find too often and it's ready for a new life.
