My son used this glove for one season of coach-pitch baseball, and it worked great for him. The glove is nicely broken in and very easy to close, making it ideal for a young player. It has been well cared for and is in good condition. The small pieces of duct tape on the laces are not because there is anything wrong with the laces. They were simply added to keep the knots from coming undone, which is common with baseball glove laces.
