Seller description

This used 2025 Wilson A2000 is a well-regarded adult baseball glove designed for right-hand throwers. The A2000 line is known for its durable Pro Stock leather, which offers a good balance of stiffness and break-in time, making it a reliable choice for serious players. This model features a 12-inch length with a fully closed web, ideal for pitchers or infielders who want to conceal their grip on the ball. The glove’s construction provides solid support and a comfortable fit, aiming to enhance control and secure catches. At 12 inches, this glove is suitable for players who need a slightly larger mitt without sacrificing quick ball transfers. The closed web is particularly helpful for pitchers or players looking to hide pitches from the batter. This glove fits best with competitive adult players who value durability and performance in game situations.

Perfect glove for:

High school and college fielders shopping a specific position pattern rather than a general-purpose glove.

The Wilson A2000 is a baseball glove line spanning every fielding position, including catcher. Each glove carries a pattern code like 1786 or OT7 that fixes size and position. Web shape and shell material vary between releases of the same pattern. Dual welting in the finger backs and a Dri-Lex wrist lining run through the line. Wilson positions the line for high school, college and pro players.

Wilson A2000 Fast Pitch Glove

Wilson does not miss when in the A2000 models, with strong yet durable leather that is guaranteed to last a lifetime is properly conditioned throughout the seasons. The Fastpitch models are great for serious players from travel ball to High School/College, with great fitting for female hands.

Great glove ,should’ve left it alone

I love the EL 3 pattern , and I would love if there was an A2K option. The A2000 has been getting softer& softer over the years , since the comfort pro fit & 2027 line has just become an R2G without an option for the traditional stiffer A2000. Wilson trying to justify a cheaper product is wrong!

Wilson A2000 D33

The D33 is the most versatile glove on the market. The web hides the ball well when pitching. But the laced portion ensures dirt won’t get stuck in it if using on the infield. A durable glove, comes in so many color ways. I couldn’t recommend it enough if you want a glove a glove for lifetime

Quality you can count on!

I recently picked up an infield Wilson A2000 looking to break it in and use it myself for a few years before giving it to my son. There are not many pieces for baseball equipment that could work for this type of long term plan, but this glove can! Pure quality!

Amazing pocket and protection to your hand

The best part of the A2000 catchers mitt is the thumb protection and weight of the glove. The pocket is pretty standard that provides a balance between a secure catch and quick transfer speed. A con of the glove however is the catching surface being smaller because of all the padding on the mitt.
