Pursuit

### Product Description

Rossignol Pursuit skis are a series comprised of four models designed specifically for novice skiers who prefer carving on groomed trails. Pursuit skis are ideal for turning at a decent rate of speed on flat, hard, and smooth trails, and are not recommended for tackling moguls or other types of variable terrain. The low-profile tip rockers can make turn initiation with these skis a little more difficult and at slower speeds the skis can feel a little sluggish. Rossignol Pursuit features a Poplar Wood Core for optimal balance and weight distribution adding a blend of power and agility. Rossignol’s Prop Tech helps improve edge contact and enhanced control to improve turn initiation for a more enjoyable ride.

### Expert Notes

Staying true to its namesake, the Rossignol Pursuit shines at high speeds and performs best when pushed hard. The low-profile tip rocker challenges you to initiate each turn, but once engaged the Pursuit is stable and propels you out of each turn with exceptional power. We should note that the Pursuit is not the best ski at slower speeds; you may find that you feel sluggish when you’re skiing too slowly. The narrow waist width delivers quick edge-to-edge control. Built with adaptive torsion flex, the Pursuit can absorb variable terrain for added responsiveness and control. This is the perfect ski for those early morning risers who love to take advantage of the fresh corduroy over last night’s dusting.

### Product Description

Rossignol S7 freeride skis were a revolutionary ski when they first debuted, known for offering a playful feel in powder and designed for a variety of levels and abilities. The S7 was one of the first skis designed to depart radically from traditional ski design, making it an immediate crowd favorite. Featuring its patented Powder Turn Rocker, the S7 provides effortless steering and speed control to make powder skiing easier and more enjoyable than ever before. The Centered Sidecut provides versatility and a strong edge hold when needed. Constructed from a Sandwich Laminate Wood/Carbon Core, the S7 provides stability, power, and durability. The S7 model is an excellent ski for an intermediate skier who wants to improve their powder skills. The S7’s also make for the perfect one ski quiver for advanced skiers who are looking to tackle all sides of the mountain.

### Expert Notes

The Rossignol S7 is an OG freeride ski. The parent to the 7 series, the S7 was a game-changing standard for big mountain skiing. This model was the first to bring the surfy, playful feel of powder skiing to the masses. The S7’s Powder Turn Rocker provides effortless steering and maneuverability, making skiing powder way more fun than ever before. A centered sidecut provides versatility and edging power to the 115mm waist that can get you down the front side but thrives in the bowls, back and side country. While newer technology has outpaced the S7, these were evolutionary features that still hold their own against today’s models. Anyone looking to get into some off-piste skiing would benefit from starting with a pair of Rossignol S7 skis.
