Very comfortable and durable boot. Great value. Perfect skate for someone transitioning from older high end skates to new skates. They will be fairly stiff boots without being overly stiff like a carbon fiber booy
Underrated Skates!
I’ve only been playing hockey for about 3 years now and I’ve struggled to find a skate that was comfortable for my wide feet. I had been using some Bauer M3s up until recently and they were fine but my feet hurt pretty much all the time. I really wanted to try some new skates and had heard that True skates were reasonably priced and good for people with wide feet. I definitely love my new skates! I’ve been wearing them for about 2 months now and they fit so well and are super comfortable. They were really easy to bake at home and gave really easy to follow instructions. I love these skates and their performance is stellar!
Excellent skate without breaking the bank.
Skates are midrange in price, but excels in comfort and performance. Boot is easily heat molded. With the stock tongue and lace holding pattern regular cotton laces work fine. Steel is excellent quality and holds an edge. Shift max holders make it easy to swap out blades. Blackout model with minimal logos give it a pro appearance and feel.

After a recommendation from a friend to grab the Catalyst (and to grab it form Sideline Swap), I pulled the trigger. These are the best feeling most durable skates I have ever owned. I am using at least twice a week and they appear tough as hell while also being comfortable (wide option). I Love them.
