Great bat
Bat was clean and in great shape. Well represented on the ad and the purchase time was excellent. Great bat for the price.
Marucci Echo connect Bat
This two-piece composite bat is designed for both power hitters and control players. Its OLS connection minimizes vibrations and reduces sting on off-center hits, while the Marucci-exclusive Double Wall Technology barrel provides a large sweet spot for consistent power. This design maximizes ball distance with a trampoline effect on well-placed swings.
Key features include:
| Two-Piece Composite Barrel | Combines the power potential of a composite barrel with the feel and control of a two-piece construction. |
| OLS Connection | Provides a stiffer connection compared to traditional two-piece bats, reducing vibration and improving energy transfer. |
| Soft-Touch Grip with Extra Tack | A combination of comfort and control. The perforations help with better breathability and moisture management. |
| Endloaded Swing Weight | Distributes weight slightly towards the end of the bat, providing more power potential for players who can handle a slightly heavier swing weight. |
| Sting-Free Nylon Knob | Absorbs vibrations on contact, reducing the sting in your hands and creating a more comfortable swing. |
| Different Drop Weights | Allows players to choose a bat that best suits their swing speed and strength. |
Top Competitors
All three are two-piece composite bats with a large sweet spot. The Marucci Echo Connect prioritizes a smooth swing with some pop, thanks to its vibration-reducing connection and a large sweet spot with a trampoline effect. The DeMarini CF Zen offers a potentially softer feel and might have a hair more power, while the Easton Ghost X swings lighter for more control with a balanced power potential.
Progression of the i Echo Connect
There is no 2019 Echo. Marucci uses a two-year cycle for their bats and the fastpitch bat before was called the CATFX. The Echo has considerable changes compared to the FX lines.
- A new multi-directional composite shell called MDX.
- The same connection piece found in Marucci’s top-rated CAT 8 Connect.

| Great pop, no sting. Worth it if your daughter is serious about playing softball and is willing to put in time to develop her swing. |
| The swing weight is similar to my Ghost with just as much pop; but is far more durable. |
| My 15 year old loves to hit with this bat. It’s excellent so far. Highly recommend! |

| Less than two months after purchasing this bat, the cap at the end of the bat is loose. |
| After half of a season the bat is dead. There is no pop or a sweet spot. Very disappointed. |
| There is no pop to this bat all all. Even after hundreds of swings, this bat seems dead. |
Great bat for youth. I really love the Echo Connect DMND for my daughter. It has a nice pop with solid connections. The two piece makes the vibration less on her hands. It has a classy look to it as well.
