Not as much pop as we thought
Handle and weight feel fine, but there isn’t as much power as expected from a hybrid bat.
Great for kids of all levels
My son got the Axe bat and has been loving it since day 1. Great handle on it, has had good pop and it’s been a great experience overall.
Decent bat but not worth the gimmick
The bat itself performed fine. My 11-year-old used it a few times and said the balance and weight felt good and the bat itself held up to the rigors of a rec league season. The axe style handle isn't for everyone though. I've lent it to a couple of the 9 and 10 year olds on the rec team I coached and none of them could quite get comfortable with it, preferring a traditional bat handle and knob. I'd likely not go for an axe style handle again.
