* These skates are incredibly light!  The HyperFlex technology with the carbon composite boot makes a huge difference. They feel very responsive and agile on the ice, allowing for quicker starts, faster turns, and overall better maneuverability.
* They felt weird at first, but after two skates I’m realizing some benefits. My turns are sticking better and my stops are harder and more precise. I will never be great, but these skates are helping me be the best I can be.
* After baking and profiling, they are outstanding. I have about 10 skates on them and couldn't be happier. Out of the box comfort is great and forward flex is much better than my old skates.

CONS:



* I’m questioning it’s durability especially for the $1,000+ price tag. The tongue looks good but the red fabric has already torn in only a month. I just replaced his laces as they were cut in several places which appear to be a result of the plastic lace eyelets.
* The Vapor Hyperlite leans towards a stiffer flex profile for maximum energy transfer.  While great for powerful skaters, this stiffness is too much for a beginner like me.
* After 6 months of use, i’m forced to buy another set because the plastic lace system at the top of the skate was broken and rendered the skate useless.

I've had multiple pairs of the HyperLites, both retail and custom-made. It's like the HyperLite took the best elements from all the top Vapor skates and made them even lighter and more comfortable. The Hyperlite is the lightest skate I've ever used. It's almost so light that you need to get adjusted to putting pressure differently using your blades because heavier skates do give you a little extra weight. 

They have a comfort liner within the skate and right along the ankle, which keeps your ankles from wearing down. It's very durable, too. I've used a pair for about three years, skating a lot, and they've held up perfectly. Also, it's a great travel skate. Everything is weight-based if you're flying somewhere, so the HyperLite is an excellent option.

* These skates offer a significant jump in performance over entry-level skates. The Flex Composite boot provides a good balance of stiffness for powerful strides and some flex for maneuverability. They're perfect for skaters who want to improve their game without breaking the bank.

* Skate has a good amount of higher end features and has good interior support. We upgraded the foot beds to super feet since the include ones are typical unsupported foam. All in all a very good middle of the line skate for not a lot of money.

* Skilled players who are used to top-of-the-line skates might find the Vapor 3X a bit too flexible. The flex profile is geared towards balance and maneuverability, which can sacrifice some energy transfer for powerful strides. 
* Blade holder cracked after a deflection during a game, and the material of the boot is already falling apart. Had these for about 4 months before having to buy Hyperlites because of the poor construction.
* The Vapor 3X doesn't offer any heat-molding capabilities and while the liner is comfortable…I have some wicked pressure points and am disappointed with the customization options.

The 3X was released close to the HyperLite, which was a revolutionary skate at the time, so it kinda got lost in the mix. It's still a good skate and very similar to the 3X Pro model but without as much comfort. One of the things that makes the 2X Pro great is how light it feels. It's an extremely lightweight boot that is also really durable. It's a predecessor to what you see in the HyperLite these days. Very durable but also very light. So the 2X Pro is perfect for agility, cutting back and forth across the ice. And, it still has good power. At the professional level, some NHL players use the 2X Pro and have no issues. It’s a skate that will last you. Mine are still fine to play in even after years. It's a skate built to last.

* I had no issues with them. There was no lace bite like in my Vapors, and there was no rubbing in the toe cap. They literally feel like slippers on my feet.

* This skate is not meant for a wide foot! After 45 minutes, I wanted to get off the ice; it took me up to 2 hours to walk normally. They put so much pressure on the outside of my feet. Super uncomfortable. 
* The Supreme 3S offers some heat-molding capabilities, but only on certain areas of the liner.
* My son is having a hard time with these skates. They are not comfortable even after 2 sessions of molding and spending an extra $40 on special inserts.

The 3S will give you a lot of power, more power than you would get with some of the older models. It features the Pro TPU outsole, which has additional stiffness in the lower portion of the skate, delivering more speed. It's lightweight, and the upgraded foam also adds comfort. The 3S has the stainless steal runner and the trigger release system, allowing you to quickly swap out the blade. It's a skate you could play multiple seasons with.

The True Pro Custom are the skates I currently use. They're fantastic. The durability on these is just otherworldly. I've used my Pro Customs for over two years, and they still hold up great. In being custom, a lot of the holders (what keeps the steel in) can be swapped out. They will feature the quick-release Bauer version, or you'll see these skates with the quick-release CCM version. When you're looking for these skates, you can pretty much find whatever you desire.

The PK5900 is always ready to launch from 0 to 100 when you are. It is loaded nearly all features of the PK7900 reference model. For the Asymmetrical Upper Construction GRAF add additional material on the inside of the boot at the very point where a lot of the energy is transferred from your leg to the skate. Additionally, on the PK4900 and PK5900 GRAF introduce a newly developed PURE nine-layer Pro Composite Quarter Panel that fits extraordinarily well to the skaters foot and has the exact amount of stiffness to transfer your full potential to the ice. For the new PEAKSPEED Lightning line up GRAF focused even more on developing a skate that sticks more to the antomical contours of the human foot. To achieve this GRAF developed pressing moulds that form the PURE Composite Material in a Contour-3D shape even before the boot is manufactured. Our anatomically shaped PEAKSPEED Lightning footbed provides optimal energy transfer with every stride. As in two models of the first PEAKSPEED skate line up the PK5900 is equipped with a pioneering Two-Phase FlexFit Technology inner life. The upper part of the lining is made of Flex Grip Microfiber and in the lower part GRAF used soft and breathable Nylon-Velours. Our anatomically shaped PEAKSPEED Lightning footbed provides optimal energy transfer with every stride. The GRAF ULTRA 5000 blade is one of the stiffest and lightest blades that are available on the market and directs every little movement one-to-one the edges.
