All pads are well in tact and rigid, still offering great protection for starters and experienced players alike. ***All four elastic Velcro straps are extremely stretched but still fasten fine. I tied knots in the body straps to shorten the length (you could also fasten on opposite side i.e. left strap goes to right side of chest pad) and wrapped the bicep pads around arm twice then fastened. This worked great for me but you may want to replace the straps*** Stains abound, especially throughout inside of chest/back and around the collar bone, but pads have been cleaned and disinfected many times***
