I have had the skates for a year, and having some issues with my ankles in the skates as I get older. I bought new insoles last month and didn’t give much comfort. The skates will come with brand new black step steel already put in the skates. I will also send the original blades so you can have both sets. The laces are wax so if you don’t like wax you will need new laces. Aside from that the skates are very structurally sound. I took pictures of the wear on the toe cap from pucks and posts. All purchased at pure hockey.
