The QR Edge also features Warrior’s AxyFlex construction, a stretch mesh between the cuff and the body of the glove that allows for ultimate mobility without sacrificing protection. Every segment of this three-piece-constructed glove works independently but together, without any of the cumbersome stiffness of a two-piece design. The cuff rolls include more dual-density foams with an AxyFlex plastic plate that functions like a slash guard, for some of the best wrist protection available. The AxyFlex two-piece thumb allows for much better dexterity without compromising hyperextension protection. Warrior classifies the QR Edge as a tapered fit glove with a snug feel in the fingers and backhand. The cuff, however, feels anatomical around the wrist and isn’t flared like other QRE gloves. It still provides a full range of motion due to the AxyFlex mobility, but offers a snug feel, resulting in an overall contoured fit.
