This is a well-made, high-quality catcher's glove. It's probably one of the highest quality gloves that I've purchased for my sons. It does provide exceptional protection against stinging, which can be really helpful for young catchers. That said, because of its high-quality construction and materials, it's a little heavier and stiffer than some of the other youth catcher's gloves that I've purchased. So, I would recommend it more for 11 to 13-year-olds, than for younger catchers who are just starting out. If you have questions about it, please feel free to message me.
