P-790

P790 2025

### Product Description

TaylorMade RocketBladez Irons are the first of TaylorMade’s iron sets to utilize Speed Pocket Technology. The Speed Pocket flexes at impact in order to increase ball speed and create a higher launch trajectory with a steep and quick-stopping descent. The Speed Pockets are featured in the 3-7 irons and then the rest are traditional cavity back designs. The Ultra-Thin Face combines with the Speed Pocket and Inverted Cone Technology to increase forgiveness across the face and to enable maximum playability and distance. Despite the name, TaylorMade RocketBladez Irons are not blades, but are mid-sized heads with an average topline and offset. RocketBladez Irons come standard with the TaylorMade RocketFuel Steel Shaft and RocketBladez Black Grip.

### Expert Notes

These midsize irons have a generous head size, but not too thick of a top line. Players of all levels can hit these, and will enjoy doing so. Mis-hits seem to come off the face almost as well as a solid shot without losing much distance or accuracy. Speed pockets are featured in the 3-7 iron to really give you that extra boost of distance. Consistency is fairly solid with these too, and the sound is not too loud off the face. Lastly, these clubs are very light, making them easy to swing.

TaylorMade R7 Irons are designed for beginner players seeking an iron that will deliver straight and true hits. A game improvement iron, the R7 features a large sweet spot and excellent forgiveness on off-center hits. RocketBallz

### Product Description

TaylorMade RocketBallz Irons are progressive and dynamic game-improvement irons that are designed to deliver farther, higher and straighter ball flight. These irons are best suited for higher handicap players who struggle to get the ball into the air, or who have a difficult time hitting longer irons. Featuring a progressive set design, each iron is individually engineered to promote distance, forgiveness, and feel throughout the set. The key to the RocketBallz distance performance is the re-engineered face with innovative “Toe-Bar” technology that controls the face-flexion to send shots straight for greater accuracy. The center of gravity (CG) is low for a high launch trajectory, and the new vibration and sound control system dampens vibrations for an excellent sound and feel.

RSi 1

### Product Description

TaylorMade RSi 1 irons are designed for the average golfer looking to for advanced technology in their clubs. The RSi 1 replaces the SpeedBlade Iron, with the key addition being the newly added slots in the sole and face that provide uniform flexion when the ball is struck off-center. The Face Slots help increase ball speed and preserve distance even on mis-hits. The Inverted Cone Technology combines an ultra-thin face and deep undercut cavity to increase Coefficient of Restitution (COR) for faster ball speeds. A game improvement iron, the TaylorMade RSi offers a good balance of accuracy and forgiveness, helping shots to fly straighter.

Speedblade

### Product Description

TaylorMade Speedblade Irons appeal to players of all abilities and levels and provide a high launch trajectory with a steeper and softer landing. The SpeedBlade Irons feature a high launch profile and excel at making it easier to get the ball into the air even on shots hit lower on the face. The revolutionary Speed Pocket in the 3-7 irons allows the face to flex at impact to deliver increased ball speeds and a higher launch. The short irons do not have the Speed Pocket and focus primarily on precision with forgiveness, feel, and enhanced control.

### Expert Notes

You will be very impressed by the SpeedBlade’s high launch and remarkable feel. Looking down on these, they are a total confidence booster and have a nice trampoline effect when flushed. The game improvement irons are ideal for anyone looking to add distance and height to their iron play. The SpeedPocket will deliver the most flex across the face when hit, to deliver more ball speed and higher launch you always wanted. An all around lightweight and balanced club that will feel great each time you tee off, the SpeedBlade irons are fun to hit and you will really get a kick out of them. No pun intended.

### Product Description

TaylorMade PSi irons are players’ performance irons that offer superior sound and ultimate feel for maximized ball speed and distance. Featuring a clean and precise look with classic lines that appeal to more advanced players, the PSi combines both beauty and performance. The Dynamic Feel System (DFS) dampens vibrations while Face Slot Technology helps achieve consistent distance by maintaining ball speed even on mis-hits. The blade length, topline thickness, and offset increase gradually from the wedges to the long irons. Designed to be a progressive set, TaylorMade ensures each iron performs optimally for its specific purpose. The new 360 degree undercut lowers the center of gravity (CG) and generates an optimal trajectory and distance preferred by better players.

### Expert Notes

These irons feature a cut in the speed pocket slot to enable more flex. More flex equates to more distance and a higher launch. In addition, TaylorMade added a Dynamic Feel System to help with the vibration at impact by using dampening compounds. The mid-size head on the PSi irons looks and feels solid, and produces a nice sound. The head size stays the same with each club in the set, so you will experience consistency across the board. If they look too big to you, you might consider the PSi forged sets instead -- these feature a slightly smaller head.

RSi TP

### Product Description

TaylorMade RSi TP Irons offer Tour-proven shaping with a compact head, minimal offset, and thin topline. Built with the better player in mind, the RSi TP version offers enhanced feel and control. Face Slot Technology provides uniform flexion across the face giving players improved performance on mis-hits. The Speed Pocket Technology in the 3-7 irons provides consistent launch conditions and maintains ball speed on shots hit below the center of the face. Advanced two-piece welded construction features a forged carbon steel face and hosel for a solid feel and enhanced performance. The TaylorMade RSi TP irons come standard with the KBS Tour Steel Stock Shaft for ultimate feel and control.

RSi 2

### Product Description

TaylorMade RSi 2 Irons feature cast stainless-steel long irons with tungsten weighting for higher-launching shots and forged face short irons for enhanced feel upon impact. These player’s irons are designed for mid-to-low handicaps and offer a more compact profile, thinner topline, slightly less offset, and less sole bounce than RSi 1 irons. The Speed Pocket with Thruslot provides uniform face flexion in the 3-7 irons to preserve ball speed and maintain distance on off-center strikes. The Inverted Cone Technology combines an ultra-thin face and deep undercut cavity to give momentum transfer to the ball for increased ball speed and added distance. TaylorMade RSi 2 irons are available in the stock KBS Tour 105 shaft, a lighter shaft for consistent speed and accuracy.
