### Product Description

TaylorMade R15 drivers are a low spin driver with a large sweet spot and are available in a classic black or matte white finish. The Front Track Adjustability system acts like a Speed Pocket to reduce spin and expand the sweet spot for maximum ball speed and to retain consistent ball speed on mis-hits. There are two 12.5 gram sliding weights in the sole to give the golfer more options for launch conditions, shot shape, and overall performance. Designed to combine maximum distance with optimal adjustability, the R15 driver features a lower and forward center of gravity (CG) to increase launch angle and decrease spin. The R15 driver offers more adjustability with a 4-degree loft sleeve in addition to the 25 grams of adjustable weight in the soled.

### Expert Notes

The R15 is one of the longer drivers on the market, and you will not be disappointed by its performance. It has an excellent feel and you will know exactly where you missed it (if you do miss). Looking down on the white crown, the driver is extremely forgiving and even your miss hits will end up almost in the fairway. Designed for lower handicap players, this club mainly hits the ball straight. You won’t experience much curve on shots with this club at all. Like the SLDR, this driver uses a low-forward center of gravity, which produces the lowest spin possible to increase distance and trajectory. Lastly, the R15 is very adjustable, making it a great option for a variety of players.

R7 Quad

### Product Description

TaylorMade R7 Quad Drivers feature Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) that dramatically expands the clubface for consistently longer drives and increased ball velocity on mis-hits. The R7 Quad is a 400cc full titanium head with excellent forgiveness and maximum distance. For ultimate customization, the R7 comes with 4 TLC Cartridges and Ports with interchangeable weights, which provide the player with the ability to shape shots, choose a launch trajectory, and increase accuracy and workability. TaylorMade Launch Control (TLC) Technology is an innovative design that gives players the freedom to reposition weight in the clubhead to optimize launch trajectory and increase distance. The TaylorMade R7 Quad Driver comes standard with the M.A.S.2 7-65 Graphite Shaft with low torque to enhance control.

### Product Description

TaylorMade R1 Drivers - originally released in 2013 - improved upon the company’s previous driver, the R11S. The R1 Driver offers slightly more ball speed and less spin than the R11S, due to the lower and more forward center of gravity (CG), for a high-launching and low-spinning ball flight designed to maximize overall distance. The 460cc head features a wide and deep face that is more forgiving on mis-hits and suitable for mid to low handicappers. The Adjustable Loft Sleeve provides shot-shaping control for a player to adjust for loft, lie, and face angle that will benefit almost every golfer. The Inverted Cone Technology with Movable Weights lets the sole weighting be adjusted to promote either a straight or draw ball flight.

### Expert Notes

This driver can be tuned to fit any player, regardless of your playing ability -- a bold move by TaylorMade, but understandably smart. You will first notice the graphics on the top of the club, which stand out compared to other designs. One of the most adjustable drivers on the market, this club provides maximum forgiveness. You can tweak the settings as you need or try some new lofts depending on the course you play. This club has higher pitched sounds than you may be used to, but remember that you are going for distance. With twelve loft options and seven face angle settings, you will be able to adjust the R1 driver to your exact preference.

SLDR 460

### Product Description

TaylorMade SLDR 460 Drivers provide a higher launch trajectory with less spin for increased distance. The SLDR 460 is extremely forgiving and easier to hit giving the golfer more distance through more loft. Featuring Adjustability Technology with the SLDR Moveable Weight System, a single 20 gram sliding weight in the 460cc titanium head allows players to fine-tune their shot shape by adjusting for draw, fade, or neutral ball flight. Center of Gravity (CG) is positioned lower and more forward in the head to create higher launch angles and less spin adding more distance to your shots. The sweetspot in the SLDR has been expanded over previous TaylorMade models increasing the moment of inertia (MOI) across the face for more forgiveness on off-center strikes.

### Expert Notes

The TaylorMade SLDR 460 driver is extra long in length, and it’s the successor of the R1 driver. A redesigned adjustable weight system and center of gravity give this driver less spin on the fairway. Gone is the white crown, as the SLDR 460 is back to a simple sliding system. You will enjoy the higher launch and faster ball speeds across the face. All in all, this driver is not overly complicated from a design standpoint, as TaylorMade tried to keep things a bit on the simpler side. It’s very easy to make a quick adjustment on the spot and hit again.

Stealth 2

#### Product Description

The TaylorMade Stealth 2 Driver is the successor to the original Stealth, designed for increased distance. Its key features include a new 60X Carbon Twist Face for faster ball speeds and more forgiveness on off-center hits, a Carbon Reinforced Composite Ring, and a higher Moment of Inertia (MOI) for straighter and more accurate shots. While distance is a primary focus, the stealth technology also helps to maintain ball speed and accuracy for good green performance. It comes in various loft and shaft flex options.

**Perfect club for:** Golfers of all skill levels, but especially those who want more distance and forgiveness.

#### Key features include:

- **Increased Carbon Construction:** This translates to a lighter club head, allowing for more mass to be strategically placed for better performance.

- **60X Carbon Twist Face:** This innovative face technology generates explosive ball speeds across the hitting surface, even on off-center strikes.

- **Carbon Reinforced Composite Ring:** This ring frees up weight by replacing titanium in the body, allowing for more features to be incorporated into the club head design.

- **Higher Moment of Inertia (MOI):** This translates to greater forgiveness on mishits, helping achieve straighter and more accurate drives.

- **Premium Sound:** A combination of curvature, shape, and internal stiffening ribs to finely tune acoustics, delivering a sound profile that is both bright and powerful.

- **Multiple Models:** The Stealth 2 comes in three models (Stealth 2, Stealth 2 Plus, Stealth 2 HD) to cater to different golfer needs.

#### Top competitors comparison: the [Callaway Paradym Driver](https://sidelineswap.com/shop/golf/clubs/drivers/callaway/paradym-inventory-api/l304269) and the [Ping G430 Max Driver](https://sidelineswap.com/shop/golf/clubs/drivers/ping/g430-max-inventory-api/l314276)

Similar to the Stealth 2, the Paradym prioritizes distance and forgiveness. However, Callaway achieves this through their Jailbreak A.I. technology, which uses artificial intelligence to design an ultra-stable titanium chassis for maximum ball speed. While also offering distance, Ping emphasizes forgiveness with the G430 Max. Their signature movable weight technology allows customization to promote a draw bias and straighter ball flight. The G430 Max may be a better choice for golfers who slice the ball more often.

#### Progression:

The TaylorMade Stealth 2 Driver is the successor to the original TaylorMade Stealth Driver released in 2022. Here's a breakdown of the progression and key upgrades:

**TaylorMade Stealth Driver (2022):** Introduced the concept of a Carbonwood Driver, utilizing a carbon fiber face for the first time in a TaylorMade driver. This resulted in increased ball speed and distance potential.

**TaylorMade Stealth 2 Driver (2023):** Focuses on building upon the foundation of the original Stealth while prioritizing forgiveness alongside distance. Here's how they achieved this:

- **Nearly double the carbon fiber content:** This allows for a lighter clubhead and more strategic weight distribution for better forgiveness.
- **Enhanced 60X Carbon Twist Face:** This improved design promotes even faster ball speeds and more forgiveness on off-center hits.
- **Carbon Reinforced Composite Ring (CFRC Ring):** Replaces titanium in the body, freeing up weight for features that enhance forgiveness.
- **Higher Moment of Inertia (MOI):** Improved weight distribution leads to greater forgiveness on mishits, resulting in straighter and more accurate drives.

#### What people are saying (edited for clarity and brevity)

**PROS:**

- Honestly, this driver is fantastic! It's helped me hit the ball farther and stay on the fairway more often.
- Easy swinger with very little punishment for the heel or toe contact. Distance is impressive.
- The Stealth 2 looks, feels, and plays amazingly. I love the sound it makes when it connects with the ball.

**CONS:**
- I should have opted for the one with the adjustable weights, as it provides more forward roll.
- This driver has quality control issues. The red ring around the head, next to the weight in the back, has cracked on me twice.
- The face is forgiving, but for me, it has a dull thud sound that I do not like.

### Product Description

The TaylorMade M1 Driver is one of golf’s most adjustable drivers, and is a perfect option for a wide range of playing abilities. A force in the innovation category, the M1 features a T-Track System with adjustable weights to personalize specifications. The front track utilizes a 15 gram weight to adjust for multiple draw, neutral, and fade settings while the back track has a 10 gram weight that adjusts for multiple high, medium, and low launch and spin settings. The result is a breakthrough in optimal launch conditions, overall distance, maximized forgiveness, and unprecedented performance for each golfer. The M1 features multi-material construction with a proprietary 7-layer carbon composite crown, which is ultra-thin and extremely light with high performance aerodynamics.

RocketBallz Stage 2

### Product Description

TaylorMade RocketBallz Stage 2 Drivers are the 2nd generation of RocketBallz with several key changes to the original including a lower and more forward center of gravity (CG), aerodynamic head design, thinner crown construction, larger club face, and new crown graphics. The lower and more forward CG increases ball speed and creates a higher launch trajectory for maximum distance. Improved aerodynamics reduce drag over the head for faster clubhead speed while the expansive clubface provides a larger sweet spot. The Adjustable Loft Sleeve Technology allows the golfer to tune the trajectory of the shot with 12 positions and 1.5 degrees of loft adjustment. The TaylorMade RocketBallz Stage 2 Drivers come standard with the Fujikura RocketFuel shaft and TaylorMade’s lightweight grip.

### Expert Notes

The TaylorMade RocketBallz Stage 2 driver has an expanded clubface that gives the player more surface area to hit. The large black and white face is super easy to align. Compared to the original RocketBallz driver, this one is faster and longer. With a more forward CG location, you will experience higher launch and lower spin. This game improvement driver generates lots of center hits and not a ton of misses. Toe hits are often corrected into high draws. When you do have a miss hit, it surprisingly never feels that bad.

Burner Superfast

### Product Description

TaylorMade Burner Superfast Drivers feature a large 460cc head and an ultra-lightweight club for massive distance off the tee. The larger club head utilizes TaylorMade’s Ultra-thin Wall Technology to create a thin and strong face, promoting a lighter swing weight without sacrificing power. The distinct, elongated head shape and large face - when combined with Inverted Cone Technology - provide a low and deep center of gravity (CG) for extra forgiveness. The aerodynamic head shape helps reduce drag in order to promote more ball speed for added distance. The TaylorMade Burner Superfast Drive comes standard with the lightweight Matrix Ozik X-Con 4.8 stock shaft.

### Expert Notes

The TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver is definitely a distance driver! It is one inch longer than usual, and the club itself is very light. Some may find it a little difficult to control a longer shaft, but you’ll be happy about the extra distance you pick when you hit these correctly. The Superfast also has an extra large faces compared to most drivers. This combined with inverted cone technology makes it extra forgiving. All in all, the Burner Superfast is worth trying out if you are looking for a very simple yet strong driver.

AeroBurner

### Product Description

The TaylorMade AeroBurner Driver features a longer shaft, more aerodynamic head, and has an overall lighter weight to help the clubhead move faster for increased ball speeds and maximized distance. An enlarged Speed Pocket allows the face to flex more at impact and increases the size of the sweet spot, reduces spin, and provides consistent speeds even on mis-hits. The Aerodynamic Design with a raised center crown, rounded toe and hosel fin help to reduce drag and provide faster clubhead speeds for greater distances. The club is aesthetically pleasing with its white matte finish and black PVD face, with a linear crown graphic for easy alignment.

### Expert Notes

The SpeedPocket is back and TaylorMade has revealed a super lightweight driver with a very stable face in the Aeroburner driver. It has a hard, hot face that allows you to crush your drives. You’ll find this club feels much lighter compared to other drivers on the market. The white clubhead is back to basics for TaylorMade, with a color scheme that gives the head a slimmer look upon address. This is a great club for swingers who need an altitude adjustment, as this club launches very high. One thing to note: this driver is not adjustable.

Stealth 2 Plus

#### Product Description

The TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus Driver is designed for golfers seeking maximum distance with exceptional forgiveness. A key feature is the revolutionary 60X Carbon Cast Crown. This technology utilizes a lightweight carbon fiber construction that saves weight compared to traditional titanium drivers. The weight saved is strategically redistributed to create a lower center of gravity for a higher launch and more forgiveness on off-center hits. Additionally, TaylorMade's Inertia Generator technology with a moveable weight track allows for further customization to fine-tune launch and trajectory for optimal performance. While distance is a priority, the Stealth 2 Plus Driver doesn't neglect accuracy. The moveable weight track allows golfers to dial in a slight draw bias to help find the fairway more consistently.

**Perfect club for:** Golfers seeking maximum distance with exceptional forgiveness.

#### Key features include:

- **More Carbon:** Utilizes 75-percent more carbon. The advanced application of carbon allows for the redistribution of mass for more forgiveness and stability.

- **Slidable Weight Track:** Golfers can adjust the clubhead's center of gravity position. Shifting the weight can promote a draw bias for straighter ball flight or a neutral setting for more control.

- **60X Carbon Twist Face:** A specially designed clubface with varying thicknesses across the hitting surface, aiming to optimize ball speed and performance, even on off-center hits.

- **Large, Aerodynamic Head Shape:** Offers a bigger sweet spot for more forgiveness on off-center hits. The aerodynamic design generates clubhead speed for additional distance potential.

- **Premium Sound:** A combination of curvature, shape, and internal stiffening ribs to finely tune acoustics, delivering a sound profile that is both bright and powerful.

Similar to the Stealth 2 Plus, the Paradym X prioritizes distance and forgiveness for golfers seeking maximum power. However, Callaway achieves this through their Jailbreak A.I. Technology and a 360° Carbon Chassis. The Jailbreak A.I. promotes stability and ball speed across the face, while the Carbon Chassis sheds weight for a high Moment of Inertia (MOI) and forgiveness. While offering distance, Ping places more emphasis on forgiveness with the G430 Max. Their signature movable weight technology allows for customization to promote a draw bias and straighter ball flight. Additionally, the G430 Max features a larger head profile for added confidence.

#### Progression:

The Stealth 2 Plus Driver takes the distance potential and forgiveness of the original Stealth Plus to the next level. Here's a breakdown of the progression and key improvements:

**TaylorMade Stealth Plus Driver (2022):**
- Introduced the innovative 60X Carbon Cast Crown, a lightweight carbon fiber construction that saved weight compared to traditional titanium drivers. This weight saving allowed for strategic redistribution to lower the center of gravity (CG) for higher launch and more forgiveness on off-center hits.
- Featured a Titanium body construction.
- Offered Inertia Generator with a moveable weight track for some customization of launch and trajectory.

**TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus Driver (2023):** Builds upon the foundation of the Stealth Plus by incorporating advancements in forgiveness, performance, and adjustability:

- **Twist Face Technology (Enhanced):** The Stealth 2 Plus refines the Twist Face technology, offering a wider sweet spot and more consistent ball speed across the hitting surface for even more forgiveness on off-center hits.
- **FCT Loft Sleeve (More Models):** While some Stealth Plus models offered a loft sleeve, the Stealth 2 Plus expands this feature to more models in the lineup, allowing for greater adjustability of loft and lie angle for a more personalized fit.

#### What people are saying (edited for clarity and brevity)

**PROS:**

- Smokin hot off the tee, my distance gained with with S2 plus.
- Great driver. A great feeling and a lightweight head. I love the sound it makes coming off the face!
- Reduction and spin rate coming off the face was nice to see, and it allowed some additional playability.

**CONS:**
- In my second full round playing with the Stealth 2, the head exploded and shattered into multiple pieces.
- The carbon face is brittle and can’t withstand colder temperatures.
- After about 3 or 4 rounds, the face popped off in the middle of a round.

### Product Description

TaylorMade JetSpeed Fairway Woods are high-launching, low-spinning woods that will appeal to all levels of players. The Speed Pocket is the key to this fairway wood because it enables the face to flex more, and thus generate greater ball speeds. The center of gravity (CG) is lower and more forward to increase launch trajectory, and to promote lower spin. The high-strength JetSteel Face offers consistently high ball speeds, and the sound is crisp for an exceptionally solid feel -- even on mis-hits. The JetSpeed packs more distance and playability than any TaylorMade Fairway wood preceding it.

SLDR

### Product Description

TaylorMade SLDR Drivers provide a higher launch trajectory with less spin for increased distance. The SLDR is extremely forgiving and easier to hit, giving golfers more distance and more loft. Featuring Adjustability Technology with the SLDR Moveable Weight System, a single 20 gram sliding weight in the 460cc titanium head allows players to fine-tune their shot shape by adjusting for draw, fade or neutral ball flight. Center of Gravity (CG) is positioned lower and more forward in the head to create higher launch angles and less spin, thus adding more distance behind your shots. The sweetspot in the SLDR has been expanded over previous TaylorMade models to increase the moment of inertia (MOI) across the face for more forgiveness on off-center strikes.

Burner Superfast 2.0

### Product Description

The TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 Driver is an extremely lightweight club suitable for any golfer seeking maximum distance and forgiveness behind their shots. This driver has a long shaft to promote faster swing speeds for greater distances. The deeper clubface and low Center of Gravity (CG) promotes a higher launch and reduced spin, which leads to greater distances. The new head shape and TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone Technology also gives this driver a large sweet spot for more forgiveness and consistent distance on mishits. Released in 2011, the Burner Superfast 2.0 Driver is easy to spot with its non-glare white crown and black club face design. The driver comes standard with a 45 gram Matrix X-con 4.8 shaft.
