Description

Great condition. Truly beautiful irons that are a blast to play and buttery to hit. Clubs have been restored to their original lies and lofts. See quote/description from Scratch golf below. Clubs: PW-5 Iron Grips: Brand new Golf Pride MCC Teams (Orange) Midsize Plus 4 grips. Shafts: Stiff KBS Tour 120g 5 iron is an older edition/model of the same club and was added to the set later on. Built to original specs with same shaft, and a BB&F ferrule. Great condition! From Scratch Golf: “The Scratch EZ-1 irons are forged from the same soft Japanese 1018 carbon steel as our wedges. The EZ-1 is a larger cavity back that is designed for maximum playability and forgiveness while still retaining traditional looks and the sweet soft feel of a true forged iron. The weight is moved very low in the head and also away from the face. This increases the MOI to a level not seen before in a traditional forged iron. The EZ-1 is the perfect iron for any handicap player that is looking for maximum forgiveness and ease of use but demands traditional looks and true forged feel. The Sweeper/Slider iron grind is designed for the player that sweeps the ball off the turf with their irons, taking little to no divot. This players typical mishit is thin. The grind features low bounce and a slightly thinner and flatter sole. This allows the player to get the club down onto the ball to sweep it off the turf without the extra bounce or camber getting in the way, causing a thin shot.”
